About me:
I am a Romanian visual artist based in Bucharest, with over three decades of artistic practice. My work explores identity, memory and belonging, often using maps and geographical fragments as a visual language.
I work with easel painting and mixed media, including egg tempera, acrylic, gold and silver leaf, and painting on leather inspired by Renaissance techniques.
I studied History of Culture and Religions at the University of Bucharest and began my artistic training at the age of fifteen in the studio of painter Dan Botezan. I am a member of the Union of Visual Artists of Romania (UAPR), Painting Branch, Bucharest.
